Story of Maula Jatt

The film begins with Jeeva Natt and his clan attacking Sardar Jatt’s Haveli. Despite their superior numbers, they are defeated and Sardar Jatt and his wife are murdered. Maula, the only survivor of the attack and the son of Sardar Jatt, is raised by a woman named Daani. One day, Mooda, Daani’s true son, takes Maula to his wrestling coach. Maula impresses Mooda’s coach, who offers to train him. Maula grows up to become a famous wrestler, but at night he fights with horrible dreams from his background.

Maakha Natt, Jeeva Natt’s son, terrifies Maula by kidnapping a girl from his village and raping her multiple times in his haveli. Because of his age, Jeeva Natt plans to appoint someone else as the leader of his clan, but Daaro Natt, Jeeva Natt’s daughter, declares that only Noori Natt, Jeeva Natt’s elder son who is in prison due to his killing passion, will become the clan’s king.

An old man approaches Maula just before a fight and tells him that he knows the answers to all of Maula’s questions. He also requests that Maula meet him in the ruins of Sardar Jatt’s haveli. Maula loses the fight for the first time in his life that night, but is saved by Mooda. The next day, Maula arrives at the remains of Sardar Jatt’s haveli, where the old man who had been waiting for him confesses to him that he is Sardar Jatt’s son. The old man then hands him his father’s ‘Gandasa.’ When Maula returns to his town, he finds the Natt tribe terrorising the residents once more. Maula, enraged, murders all the males. Maula humiliates and defeats Maakha when he visits his hamlet to investigate the murder of his men.

When Maakha goes home to exact his wrath, his sister Daaro, horrified at what he has agreed to, murders him. The Natt clan is now attempting to avenge the humiliation given by Maula Jatt, while Maula Jatt works to ensure that his decision is followed and justice is served. When Noori Natt is released from jail, he informs the jailor that he has exhausted his options and is looking for a suitable opponent. Maula accepts to apologise to the Natt clan at everyone’s request. Noori returns to the village as soon as he left in quest of Maula. Noori beats Moodha to death after he tells him that he was the one who humiliated his brother. When Maula returns, she discovers Moodha has died. He then pledges to assassinate Noori. Maula arrives at Natt’s heveli but is captured, and Noori kills Jeeva Natt. Noori proclaims Daaro the clan’s leader, but she is deceived and murdered by her own clan. Maula also escapes. When Noori hears of his sister’s death, he burns down the Muala’s hamlet and captures everyone. When Maula comes in the village, he fights Noori. At the end, Noori is killed, and Maula is proclaimed the village hero.
