Javed Afridi, the face of MG Pakistan, has returned with more news, this time about the MG Marvel R Electric. We told you about this futuristic car and gave you a first look review back in January 2022. Afridi has now revealed some interesting details on this SUV.
“Our worthy readers, The MG Marvel R Electric will help you to take from Lahore to Islamabad in a single charge,” he stated in a tweet.
He does not specify whether the car will be sent to Pakistan. In Pakistan, MG Pakistan has already sold one electric vehicle, the MG ZS EV.
Marvel R Electric CBU units, like ZS EV, would be sold. For the time being, nothing is known regarding the car’s introduction or price, so sit tight and wait.
The car’s LED taillights are united by a strip of light that runs the length of the vehicle. When we talk about the lights, the LED fog lamps are located near the taillights.
A rear wiper is included, as is a high-mounted LED brake light on a purposeful spoiler. The electric tailgate opens automatically with a single touch. An anti-pinch sunroof of this vehicle is standard on all three trim levels.

MG Motors’ latest electric compact crossover SUV is the MG Marvel R. It will be unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2020. The vehicle succeeds the Roewe Marvel X.
The MG Marvel R is an all-electric vehicle with 5G technology, which was developed in partnership with Huawei. In Europe, the MG Marvel R is now available in three trim levels: comfort, luxury, and performance.
Exterior
The best feature of this car is its appearance; it quickly draws your attention, and the best feature is its headlights. The auto-retractable side-view mirrors feature 360-degree cameras. These cameras provide a complete picture of the vehicle in all surroundings. The door handles are also elegant and beautiful. On top of this vehicle, there is a brilliant panoramic sunroof and antenna similar to a shark fin.
This EV features Michelin tires on 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear of the car looks highly athletic, and the backlights are remarkably similar to those of the Audi E-Tron. The trunk may be opened remotely and offers plenty of capacity.
Interior
The enormous 19.4-inch infotainment touchscreen is the first thing you’ll notice. The screen is equipped with battery status, seat control, estimated range, and MG Pilot.
Lane departure warning, radar, front collision system, traffic assist, adaptive cruise control, and six airbags are all standard on the MG Pilot. The driver’s seat has a 6-way power adjustment and memory.
Its dual-speed automatic transmission is shaped like a knob and is extremely easy to operate.
Power and Performance
The automobile has a 69.5kWh battery that generates 180 horsepower and 410Nm of torque, making it an extremely powerful vehicle. Meanwhile, it includes two charging connections, one for personal use and the other for commercial use.
Domestic charging takes about 7 hours, but commercial charging takes approximately 40 minutes to get from zero to 80 percent. The car’s range varies from 250 to 490 kilometers per charge, depending on weather, driving style, and other factors.
Engine
A 132 kW lithium-ion battery pack and three electric motors power the electric SUV. The system has a power output of 132 kW and a torque output of 410 Nm. The MG Marvel R can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
