Pak Suzuki is expected to unveil the new Swift model in February 2022.

According to the report of Pak Wheels, the updated model of Suzuki Swift is being introduced in Pakistan after more than a decade.

The report states that the new generation Swift is planned to be introduced in February 2022, possibly with K12C or 1250cc dual jet inline 4-engine 5-speed manual or CVT transmission options.

Earlier, the old Swift was being given a 1395 cc engine but its owners have to pay higher token tax which has had some negative effects on car sales.

In comparison, those who buy a car with a 1250 cc engine will have to pay less token tax.

The report further said that this new car is likely to be offered in Pakistan at a price of Rs. 27 to 28 lakhs.

That is, the Changan may be more expensive than the Alswin, Toyota Yaris, and Honda City, but its new engine will be more helpful in saving fuel.

Note that Suzuki Swift 2021 was introduced for sale in different countries in February 2021 which will now be available in Pakistan.

The design of the 2021 Swift has undergone some minor changes and a bold strap has been added to the front grille, giving it a somewhat sporty look.

Other than that, the design of the car is the same as the previous model.

At the time, the company claimed the fuel average was better than ever.

According to the company, the manual transmission version will be able to cover a distance of 23.20 km on a liter of petrol while the automatic version will be able to cover a distance of 23.76 km.

Earlier, the Swift averaged 21.21 km per liter, and to improve this, the new model has been added with an auto start-stop function.

Inside the car are a new console, a touch screen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and new controls.

Other features include Push Start Stop Buttons, Keyless Entry, Automatic Climate Control, Steering Mound Control Button, Cruise Control, Updated Instrument Cluster, and Auto Foldable ORVMS.

Expected price:

According to sources, the company will launch the car at a price of Rs 27 to 28 lakh. If that happens then we think the price is a bit high because you can buy a Changan Elson, a Toyota Yaris, and even a Honda City at the same price and most Pakistanis like to buy a car with a Diggy.

However, car enthusiasts will buy it anyway as this new engine will be very efficient. We hope the company will offer the new Swift at a competitive price and this will be a great addition to the local market.

Test units:

Suzuki Swift’s potential third-generation test units were spotted in Karachi in November last year. There has been no car buzz in the market ever since. Therefore, we wish Pak Suzuki all the best for the upcoming launch.
