Honor has announced the date for the introduction of its first foldable smartphone to start the new year in the best possible way.

The Honor Magic V will be unveiled at an event in China on January 10.

This foldable phone is similar in design to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The cover display of the phone will have a selfie camera in punch hole design while 3 cameras will be set up on the back.

In addition, dual-LED flash and PDAF sensors will be part of the phone.

It will be the first foldable phone to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 processor and will also be the first real flagship phone of 2022.

According to various rumors, the phone will have 66-watt fast charging support with a battery while the Android 12 operating system will be present.

According to Honor, this foldable smartphone called Magic V has a flat screen that is based on 2 parts with no gaps.

In closed form, the phone will have a 6.5-inch screen with a selfie camera in a punch-hole design, while on opening, the screen will be 8-inch.

The company claims that after availability, Magic V will surpass other foldable phones.
