The Sydney Thunders won the toss and elected to bat first against the Adelaide Strikers in a match played in Sydney.
Matthew Glucks played a 93-run innings off 57 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 9 fours, thanks to which Sydney scored 172 runs for 7 wickets.
When Adelaide started chasing the target, Hasnain, who was playing his first match in the league, had already turned the tide of the match in favor of his team in the over.

The Pakistani fast bowler got the first wicket in the third over of the innings by dismissing Matthew Short and on the next ball, he also bowled Jack Weatherland.
One ball later, the fast bowler also took the wicket of Jonathan Wells and made his first over the maiden.
Hasnain gave only 20 runs in the quota of four overs and took 3 wickets.
Hasnain’s superb bowling helped the Adelaide team pile up 144 runs off the first ball of the 20th over and the Sydney Thunders won the match by 28 runs.
Matthew Glux was declared the man of the match for his excellent bowling.
