Department of Minerals has decided to set up a multi-purpose complex in Johar Town. All the rented offices of the Minerals Department in the city will be shifted to this complex.
According to details, a four-story multi-purpose complex will be constructed by the Minerals Department in Johar Town at a cost of Rs 250 million.

The offices of the Chief Inspector, Miners Welfare Commission, and Punjab Mineral Company will also be shifted to this complex.
On the other hand, the Punjab government’s dream of setting up a stall at the Dubai Expo has been shattered. According to the Finance Department, the Punjab Board of Investment had sought a fund of Rs. 35 crore from the government.
