Dr. Salman Shah, Advisor to the Chief Minister, Punjab, prepared an important report on the future of state-owned companies in Punjab, in which it was proposed to privatize B-category state-owned companies.
According to the details, in order to run public sector companies, it has been proposed to give B-category state-owned companies to private investors and A-category companies to run non-commercial companies.
Sources said that Dr. Salman Shah, Advisor to the Chief Minister, had prepared a report on state-owned companies.
The report also pointed out most of the financial and administrative issues in the operational companies and also expressed concern about the board of directors in the companies.
It is also proposed to set up a unit and the project management unit will also oversee state-owned companies. For this project, private individuals will be placed on an MP-1 scale.
