Prize Bond is a lottery bond given by the National Savings Pakistan. It is a bearer kind of investment security, which provides no premium or profit. Obtainable in different denominations.

From the aspect of The Government of Pakistan, National Prize Bond Scheme was started in 1960 to borrow money from the public at lower rates and give cash prizes through lucky draws. As a result, the Government of Pakistan acquires and receives billions of rupees, but dismally, prize money awarded to investors is very little.

The Prize Bonds in Pakistan are available for Rs. 100, 200, 750, 1500, 7500, 15000, 25000 Premium Bonds, and 40,000 Premium Bonds denominations.

Rs. 100 Prize Bond

State bank does the balloting for the 100 Rs. Prize bonds. 1st prize of the 100 Rs. prize bond of amount 700,000 PKR is given to 1 lucky winner, while second prize of the 100 prize bond of value Rs. 200,000 is given to 3 lucky winners. The last & third prize of the 100 prize bond is awarded to 1199 winners of amount Rs. 1,000/- each.

Rs. 200 Prize Bond

As stated by the spokesperson of National Savings, the 1st prize of the prize bond 200 worth Rs.750,000 is given to the single winner while the second prize of the prize bond 200 of value Rs.250,000 is awarded to 5 lucky winners. In contrast, the third prize is given to 2394 participants for Rs.1,250/- each.

Rs. 750 Prize Bond

According to the spokesperson of National Savings, the value of the Rs 750 prize bond 1st prize is PKR 1500000, the value of the 2nd prize is PKR 500000, and the value of the 3rd prize is PKR 9300.

Rs. 1500 Prize Bond

State bank performs the balloting for the 1500 Rs. Prize bonds. First prize of 1500 Rs. The prize bond worth 3,000,000 PKR is given to 1 lucky winner, while the second prize of the 1500 prize bond is worth Rs. 1,000,000 is given to 3 lucky winners. Finally, the last prize of the 1500 prize bond is awarded to 1696 winners of Rs. 18,500/- each.

Rs. 7500 Prize Bond

State bank performs the balloting for the 7500 Rs. Prize bonds. 1st prize of the 7500 Rs. prize bond of value 15,000,000 PRK is given to 1 lucky winner, while second prize of the 7500 prize bond of value Rs. 5,000,000 is awarded to 3 lucky winners. The last & third prize of the 7500 prize bond is awarded to 1696 winners of Rs. 93,000/- each.

Rs. 15000 Prize Bond

1st prize of the Rs. 15000 prize bond worth 30,000,000 PRK is awarded to 1 lucky winner, while the second prize is the 15000 prize bond of amount Rs. 10,000,000 is awarded to 3 lucky winners. The last & third prize of the 15000 prize bond is awarded to 1696 winners of Rs.185,000/- each.

Rs. 25000 Premium Prize Bond

As stated by the spokesperson of National Savings, the 1st prize of the Rs. 25000 Premium Prize Bond worth Rs. 30,000,000 is given to the two winners. While the second prize of the Rs. 25000 Premium Prize Bond of value Rs.10,000,000 is awarded to 5 lucky winners. In contrast, the third prize is given to 700 participants for RS.300,000/- each.

Rs. 40000 Premium Prize Bond

According to the spokesperson of National Savings, the 1st prize of the premium prize bond 40000 worth Rs.80,000,000 is given to the single winner. 

In contrast, the second prize of the premium prize bond 40000 of value Rs.30,000,000 is awarded to 3 lucky winners. In comparison, the third prize is given to 660 participants for RS.500,000/- each.
