Babar Azam, captain of the national cricket team and opener of the Karachi Kings, became the highest run-scorer in the Pakistan Super League’s history (PSL).

In the first match of PSL 6 between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings, Babar Azam scored 24 runs. He beat Kamran Akmal of Peshawar Zalmi, who scored 1537 runs in 55 innings of PSL all seasons. Whereas Babar Azam has scored 1540 runs in just 48 PSL contests.

It is hoped that in Sunday’s match, Kamran Akmal will again claim the honor of scoring the most runs in the PSL.
