MG Motors UK is going to launch a double cabin pick-up truck MG Extender and SUV RX8 in Pakistan in upcoming year.

MG Motors is providing cars with high-end technology that will transform the Pakistani auto industry,” Afridi said. Afridi is also the owner of Pakistan Super League team Peshawar Zalmi and technological giant The Haier Pakistan.
The company launched a compact SUV MG-HS earlier. It has also declared that it will launch the MG-ZS 1.5 and MG ZS EV, which will becompletely electric and has 44.5 KWH of power.
Afridiannounced that the company is planning to launch the double cabin pick-up truck MG Extender, which has the similarities with the Toyota Hilux, and another SUV RX8, which is equal to the Toyota Fortuner.
While talking Afridi explained that the Extender and RX8 will be launched after one another in upcoming year. The same company will launch other models in 2021.

MG Motors is one of the firs car companies that is investing in auto sector of Pakistan after the government pronounced its Auto Development Policy 2016-21.
Under the shadow of this policy the companies will be able to grab tax incentives for five years. The aim of the policy is increase the auto industry and embolden competition among other companies like Japanese Suzuki, Honda and Toyota.These players were dominant in the market before Changan, Hyundai and Kia entry in 2016.
